This talk will take a scientific approach to searching the universe for evidence for life other than on Earth.
Ben McKeown is an avid space geek currently researching adaptive optics and who was fortunate enough to be introduced to the world of SETI when I took part in an internship with Breakthrough Listen and the Berkeley SETI Research Centre. As an active member of the University of Galway’s Astronomy Society, he always enjoys talking about the wonders of the night sky. When he is not tinkering with my own telescope or designing a new one, he is usually found running, reading or knee-deep in a pile of Lego.
