Our Place amongst the Stars – An Astrophotography exhibition

An astrophotography exhibition by members of Cork Astronomy Club

Cork Astronomy Club is delighted to be part of Irish Astronomy Week which runs from March 1st to March 8th 2025. This celebration of Astronomy takes place throughout the island of Ireland and its goal is to provide opportunities to connect with the Universe, to promote an appreciation and understanding of the night sky, and to enjoy it in a non-intrusive and non-destructive manner.

This exhibition includes a selection of a wide range of astronomical objects which have been imaged by Cork Astronomy members over the last few years. The exhibition covers all aspects of the night sky, from the Moon to Deep Sky Objects such as Globular Clusters, Galaxies and Nebulas.
We hope you enjoy the exhibition and that it communicates the wonder of the night sky.
