Galway Astronomy Club Observing Evening

Galway Astronomy Club Observing Evening
Galway Astronomy Club strive to promote Irish Astronomy Week amongst as wide an audience as possible, and to share our love of the activity with new entrants and ‘old hands’ alike. They will meet at Salthill Carpark, although its is a light polluted site, it’s safe for the public. Come out an enjoy a mix of celestial treats for astronomy enthusiasts in Galway City, The Moon will reign the evening sky along with the brilliant Venus, that is like a beacon of light while Jupiter and Mars will also command attention higher up in Taurus and Gemini. The combination of these celestial highlights will make for a beautiful evening of stargazing.
